I’m a sociologist, researcher and educator. Affiliated researcher at the Center for Multidisciplinary Research on Racism at Uppsala University. Recently spent a year at the Institute of Education at University College London as a Lecturer in Sociology. My subject areas include migration studies, gender studies, critical race studies, and child and youth studies. My most recent project was about Muslim women’s experiences of racism in Sweden and how they use art and activism as strategies of resistance and forms of expressing their identities.

I teach courses in subjects such as sociology, migration studies, gender studies and qualitative methods.
